Former Cisco channel executive to lead global marketing effort to drive increased market awareness, leadership and company growth
SAN CARLOS, Calif., August 22, 2018 — Bluescape®, a leader of innovative collaboration workspace solutions, announced the appointment of Rick Tywoniak as Chief Marketing Officer. He will lead the effort to build out the company’s developer and partner eco-system as well as expand the company’s channel and sales enablement programs, marketing and communications.

Tywoniak brings over 15 years of marketing, business development, sales and engineering leadership with expertise in building and leading major partner and developer programs. He most recently led the company marketing direction and sales strategies as chief revenue officer at developerprogram.com. Before that, he held senior management and sales positions at Cisco Systems, Vovida Networks (including its successful acquisition by Cisco) and Xerox Corporation.
Throughout his stellar career at Cisco, Tywoniak led and managed successful global partner programs including the creation and leadership of the company’s first developer program, Cisco DevNet, which grew to a robust 450k developer community within the first four years. He also built a partner ecosystem program for Cisco’s Collaboration Technology Group which drove sales and software platform adoption.
